Magic’s Rashard Lewis returns to Seattle (AP)

Back in the Seattle SuperSonics practice facility, swishing jumpers as he did for nine seasons, Rashard Lewis made sure his Orlando teammates knew he was partly responsible for a Northwest Division championship banner hanging on the wall. It seemed appropriate, since Orlando spent about $120 million in the offseason to bring Lewis to Orlando with the expectation of adding a few championship… Read Original Post Here

Chicago Bulls' Chris Duhon, left, dribbles past Atlanta Hawks guard Tyronn Lue during the second half of their 90-78 win over the Hawks in Chicago, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007.

The pain Luol Deng was experiencing had nothing to do with a poke in the eye or a sore back. The Chicago Bulls were playing the way they had all season, missing shot after shot and giving the ball away like some charitable contribution. And then, everything changed. “If we struggle shooting, we’ve got to be aggressive,” Deng said.

Golden State Warriors' Monta Ellis goes up for a shot over Phoenix Suns' Steve Nash during the fourth quarter of an NBA basketball game Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Oakland, Calif.

The Golden State Warriors had every excuse to get trampled. They were exhausted after a successful East Coast road trip, and they were trying to keep up with fast-paced Phoenix in their first game back home. Instead, the Warriors ran away from Steve Nash and the Suns for a win that excited coach Don Nelson more than any of last week’s big victories on the road.
